علمت جبهة الدفاع عن متظاهرى مصر بأن المتظاهرين اللذين لم يتم إحالتهم للنيابة -ويبلغ عددهم حوالي 50 متظاهر- تم تحرير محاضر اشتباه لهم ثم تم ترحيلهم لأقسام الشرطة التابعين لها. حيث يقوم أحد الاشخاص بتقديم ضمان لهم لإطلاق سراحهم. وهذه معلومة وثقتها الجبهة من خلال الشهادات التي جمعتها لعدد من المطلق سراحهم.

We received reports that the protestors who were not brought before the prosecution office for interrogators (approximately 50 protestors) were registered in police 'suspect' (ishtibaah) reports before being transferred to the police stations near their homes. This is why a guarantor was needed for each of them before they were released. We have been able to verify this from the testimonies of a number of released detainees.
