A number of the peaceful protesters managed a while ago to take over 6 October Bridge. They have detained a number of thugs and snipers and took control over a a side of the Bridge. They were able to document the plate numbers of a number of cars used by the snipers on the bridge. These are:

Protesters were taken by surprise when a number of thugs started shooting them from the other side of the bridge. Clashes are continuing until now. On the other hand, the FDEP learnt from the field hospital in Tahrir Square that they have have received during the last hours 3 deaths and 10 injures from amongst the peaceful protesters. We are now trying to collect the complete number of deaths and injuries.
The FDEP received reports that a sniper amongst thugs on 6 October bridge over looking the Tahrir square who are attacking peaceful protesters in the square near Abdel Moneim Riyad is pointing a gun on protesters. He has failed more than once to hit any of the protesters. However a while ago he has hit a number of protesters, killing at least one of them. No intervention from the forces stationed there has taken place.
It is worth mentioning that there has been strong reports that thugs are determined to re-organize themselves to attack the peaceful protesters who have succeeded yesterday, Wednesday, in repelling the thugs' attack in which Molotov bombs, knives, sticks, horses and camels were used. The thugs had to retreat from the courageous protesters in the square. A large number of the thugs have stationed themselves on 6 October bridge and have been throwing Molotov bombs throughout the night on the peaceful protesters.
