اقتحمت فجر اليوم 9 ابريل 2011 قوات من الجيش والشرطة العسكرية والأمن المركز وعناصر أمنية بزي مدني اعتصام المئات من النشطاء بميدان التحرير وقد تم إلقاء القبض على عشرات المعتصمين والإعتداء على المعتصمين على مدار أكثر من ثلاث ساعات،
يذكر أن عدد من القوي السياسية وشباب الثورة قاموا أمس الجمعة 8 ابريل بمظاهرة شارك فيها المئات وهي ما عرفت ب" جمعة التطهير والمحاكمة" وقد وجه المتظاهرين انتقادات للمجلس العسكري الحاكم بسبب البطء فى محاكمة رموز الفساد والاستبداد فى النظام السابق وكذلك انتقادات بسبب المحاكمات العسكرية ووقائع التعذيب التى ارتكبتها الشرطة العسكرية، وبعدها قرر عدد من المتظاهرين يبلغ عددهم حوالي الف ناشط وناشطة أمس الجمعة 8 ابريل الاعتصام بميدان التحرير حتى تحقيق مطالب الثورة، فتم إنهاء اعتصامهم بالقوة، وقد نتج عن استخدام القوة العسكرية سقوط شهيد على الأقل وهو وائل عصام فضلا عن عشرات الإصابات، كما تم القبض على بعض ضباط القوات المسلحة اللذين قرروا الانضمام للمعتصمين بالميدان، وغير معروف أماكن احتجازهم أو التهم الموجهه إليهم.
وقد علمت الجبهة بمثول العشرات للتحقيق أمام النيابة العسكرية بالحي العاشر وقد توجه عدد من محامو الجبهة للحضور مع النشطاء وفيما يلي أسماء من استطاعت الجبهة توثيق أسمائهم من المقبوض عليهم وهم:
كريم محيي الدين ، أحمد رفعت، أسر حسين عبد الغني، مصطفى علاء، جو إلبير.
Martyr, 2 injured and several detained and attacks during dispersing Tahrir Strike
in the dawn of 9th of April 2011, army forces and the military police along with riot police and security forces in civilian clothes attacked hundreds of activists on Tahrir Sq. who were on a strike and some were arrested and assaulted for more than 3 hours. It is worth noting that several political groups and youth of the revolution protested on Friday, April 8th and hundreds participated in the protests that were labeled “trial and cleansing Friday”. The protesters criticized the ruling military council for the tardiness in putting corruption tycoons who belong to the late regime to trial, and also for the military trials and torture incidents committed by the military police. Later on, about a thousand protesters decided to go on a strike on Friday, April 8th in Tahrir Sq. until achieving the demands of the revolution, thus their strike was put to an end by using force against them. The military’s use of force resulted in the death of at least a martyr, Wael Essam in addition to several injuries. Moreover, some of the army officers were arrested for joining those who went on strike on Tahrir and their place of detention and their charges are still unknown.
FDEP found out that several were getting investigated before the military prosecution office in the tenth district, and a number of FDEP’s lawyers headed to attend the investigations with the activists, and below are the names of those whom FDEP was able to document their names among the detainees and they are:
Karim Mohy El-Din, Ahmed Ref’aat, Aser Hussein Abdel-Ghany, Mostafa Alaa, Joe Albair.
